What to Wear: Transitioning into Fall – Part I

Is it me or is it challenging for people to dress themselves during the transition between seasons?  When we are transitioning into spring, many start wearing shorts and sandals when it’s barely 50 degrees.  During the transition into fall, too many people are opting for heavy sweaters, boots and leather from head to toe when it’s 90 degrees.  It just does not make sense.  So, this week I wanted to do a series of posts that will hopefully make transitioning into fall a bit easier for you.

Today, I’m wearing the perfect transitional piece – a blazer!  A blazer is one of the most important items to have in your closet.  It goes with practically everything and can work for any season.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect blazer for the last two seasons, but finding one in plus sizes that worked for me and my budget proved to be impossible.  So, I expanded my search to straight sizes and I’m so glad I did because I found this amazing ivory Kensie blazer at Macy’s for a steal ($14). ( I also bought it in the black.)  The fit is perfect for me as it’s not too long on my body or my arms.  This blazer is also super versatile.  It can easily be worn to the office, for an evening out and anything in between.

I hope this is helpful. Please stayed tuned for the next post in this series.
