Furry Friend

plus size fur vest outfit idea

One of my favorite things about the colder months is including different types of outwear into my outfits and wardrobe.  Although that usually means adding jackets or coats, I’ve found that a fur vest (faux or real), like the one I’m currently wearing, can also be a great option.  The extra layer is perfect for adding warmth without adding too much bulk.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks! I got this one last year. It was $475 and I paid like $130 or something, but this is real fur. I saw (and bought) a cute faux fur vest from the JM Collection at Macy's (in-store though).

    Happy Holidays to you too!

How do you choose your tops?

I chose my tops when I'm styling an outfit through trial and error. If I have a vision of an outfit, I'll hit my closet and look try on a bunch of combinations until it's perfect.

Choosing blouses in the store when I'm shopping is a little bit different. When shopping for a top I look for interesting details, flattering colors and the price. I also try to figure out how much wear I can get out of a garment.
